The Maovember launch party at Hulu had a light turnout given it was a Beijing Friday stacked with Halloween, Day of the Dead and other events, but those who attended had a sweet and scary time. Check out this setup provided by Hulu!

Guests enjoyed a made-to-order mulled wine stand, a free-flow of tasty Hulu snacks and Halloween fun courtesy of the staff in full costume, including ‘syringe’ shots and White Rabbit candy treats (no tricks, only treats). Plus, Jing-A donated two cases of beer and attendees could win bottles with our solo beer pong game.

Many thanks to Hulu for going above and beyond (as usual!). We raised rmb1800 (18,000 mao), including a donation from the proprietor, Ignace “Mr World’s Favorite Restaurant” Lecleir.
